Even though the New England Patriots won their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles, there was a more concerning talking point that came away from that. Tom Brady and the offense are not performing up to their standard. This week, they get an important matchup against the Dallas Cowboys and all eyes are going to be on the Patriots' future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Let's break down three bold predictions for Brady's game against the Cowboys.

3. Throws fewer touchdowns than Dak Prescott

Even when Tom Brady has had a lot of success this year, he usually hasn't been throwing a ton of touchdowns. On the season, he has only thrown 14 touchdowns, with only three total coming over his last three games.

Prescott has had a big season, throwing three touchdowns in each of the last three games. Calling this a passing of the torch game might be a little premature, but at least on Sunday in terms of stats, the Cowboys quarterback is going to get the upper hand.

This is going to be another game where Prescott's MVP case is made even stronger, especially putting his stats up head to head against Brady.

2. Brady makes the winning play…again

One thing that is overlooked with Brady's stats this year is even in games he struggles, when the Patriots need a big pass, Brady makes the big throw that needs to happen to win the game.

In this game, it's probably going to be competitive that comes down to the fourth quarter. Bill Belichick is going to call the perfect play, with Brady having the perfect execution that will put the Patriots over the edge. Brady is a winner and he is going to prove it again in this game.

1. Brady has less than 40 passing attempts

A close look at Brady's stats this season shows a very interesting trend. This season, Brady is attempting 40.2 passes per game, which is the highest ever in his career. This is a big uptick from last season where he attempted only 35.6 passes.

The strength of the Cowboys' defense is going against the pass, and although their rush defense isn't bad, that is the way to attack the Cowboys defense.

Earlier this season against the Cleveland Browns, Brady attempted only 36 passes and in this game that is about where he will finish. The Patriots are going to use a run-first style of offense to have success against the Cowboys.
