To the surprise of absolutely nobody, new Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is the favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 after going No. 1 overall in the draft, according to BetOnline.ag.

Lawrence will be the Day 1 starter in Jacksonville and will have the opportunity to put up big numbers under Urban Meyer. The youngster is viewed by many as the best prospect coming into the NFL since Andrew Luck.

Trevor Lawrence's odds sit at +350, with Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields in second at +450. The Bears traded up from No. 20 to No. 11 in order to take Fields, who mysteriously slipped down the draft board despite many viewing him as the second-best prospect behind Lawrence.

Bears general manager Ryan Pace announced Thursday night veteran Andy Dalton would remain the starter, but it might not be too long before Fields gets the call.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance comes in at +550. Lance is raw and Jimmy Garoppolo is still in place, but similar to the Bears, perhaps the rookie gets his chance sooner rather than later.

Interestingly, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has better odds (+700) than New York Jets youngster Zach Wilson (+750). Cam Newton is currently the starter in New England, while the No. 2 pick in Wilson will get the call right from the beginning of the season, just like Trevor Lawrence.

After the five quarterbacks, we have Ja'Marr Chase (+1000), Kyle Pitts (+1100), Jaylen Waddle (+1400), Najee Harris (+1400) and DeVonta Smith (+1800) rounding out the top 10.

While Trevor Lawrence is the favorite here, don't count out one of these other players (or perhaps somebody else entirely) making a push for this award.
