Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem and the Heat don't know exactly what to expect from their All-Star forward Chris Bosh next season.

Haslem recently spoke optimistically about Bosh making his return next season, but after a one of Bosh's workout videos surfaced in Los Angeles, he spoke with the media, urging patience and realistic expectations.

Chris' timetable is just a little bit different than everybody else's. So we have to be mindful. We have to be conscious of the things that are important. And the thing that is most important is that when Chris needs to be ready, that he's ready.

Bosh is working on returning from his second blood clot incident which has ended his last two seasons after the All Star break.

I'm expecting him to be at camp. As far as timetable, when he's on the floor, I'm not sure about that. I haven't really gotten into the medical part of it. But I'm definitely expecting him to be at camp and to be participating.

I'm not sure if it'll be full contact or just by himself, or if he needs me to work extra with him, or whatever the situation may be. But I'm expecting him to be there.

Bosh will have to overcome concerns with contact when he does begin playing due to his blood thinning medication. He has been working out in Los Angeles, but the intensity level has not been strenuous due to his medical uncertainty.

I talked to him. I haven't had a chance to see him work out personally, but I've talked to him. I'm very aware of what's going on, and he's doing the best he can. But, also, there's a timetable that we're working with with him, so that's the thing that's very important, too.

Haslem is mindful of both the team's time limits and the health of his teammate. Heat training camp begins on September 27 in the Bahamas, which leaves little time for setbacks.
