Famed UFC commentator Joe Rogan insists that he has always been as transparent as he can be with his comments during fights.

For years, Joe Rogan has been the most recognized voice behind the mic in UFC fights. Along with rave reviews about his work, comes criticisms as well, primarily bias comments.

Revealing his take on the matter, Rogan stressed that he was never biased all these years.

“I try to be very fair, always, with my commentary. And I’m also very respectful,” Rogan said via “The Joe Rogan Podcast.” “Like, even if you think that my commentary was biased, or one way or another, you’ll never think I’m disrespectful, ‘cause I try to; unless someone’s doing something dirty.”

Rogan had vowed in the past that he would part ways with the UFC if the company will be managed by different owners. When the Fertitta brothers and Dana White sold most of their shares in the company to WME-IMG and its associates in 2016, many expected that Rogan will leave.

However, after “a bunch of conversations” with White, Rogan decided to stay provided that the international trips will be cut from his contract.

“I had a conversation with Dana. We had a bunch of conversations,” Rogan said in 2016 via Sportskeeda. “What I decided to do was no more international travel; no more flying across the planet…If I go to Brazil that's five days out of my life…and on top of that there's the recovery time. The flying f**ks with my head. I'm cutting down a lot of events, but I'm doing at least one more year. It's a year by year thing.”
