FaZe Clan will be looking to make a splash in North America's VALORANT scene with its refreshed roster for VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2022. The team members were (accidentally) revealed ahead of the VCT NA Challengers Stage 1 Open Qualifiers, set to begin in just a few days.

According to the VCT tournament page Battlefy, FaZe Clan will field a roster consisting of: Andrej “BABYBAY” Francisty, Chris “LarryBanks” Doyi, Xavier “flyuh” Carlson, Quan “Dicey” Tran, and Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski. That's four fresh faces for fans to cheer for as FaZe strives for a stronger VCT campaign this time around. BABYBAY is the only returning player from last season's lineup, having been with the org since August of 2020.

LarryBanks and flyuh previously played together on Teal Seam, who had announced the departures of their long-standing players the same day that the VALORANT community caught wind of the FaZe Clan roster leak on Battlefy. Meanwhile, Dicey joins FaZe from 100 Thieves, alongside ShoT_UP who has made the move from Immortals. Rumors of the two new additions had already made rounds in early January, with reports saying they had been practicing with FaZe ahead of VCT 2022's official launch.

Going the other direction, Hunter “BabyJ” Schline had departed FaZe last November 2021 to join 100 Thieves to complete that roster about a week ago. Corey Nigra also made his exit from the squad in early January, later moving to Team SoloMid.

Former Counter-Strike player Josh “JDM” Marzano will still be at the helm as head coach, while Thomas “Trippy” Schappy continues in his assistant coaching role position. FaZe Clan will compete in the open qualifiers for VCT NA Challengers One beginning January 27, 2022, while four other VALORANT teams have already directly advanced to the main stage in February.
