The Arkansas Razorbacks have a rather famous former student in Jerry Jones. The owner of the Dallas Cowboys, who is as famous for his off-the-field tomfoolery as he is for football things, is about to be honored by the university.

It isn't only that the school plans on honoring the man. Arkansas is going to take it to a completely other level.

People know about the Cowboys. At one point during the recent history of football, it was dubbed America's Team. It is also Jerry Jones' baby. He loves that thing, even if it doesn't love him back. The Razorbacks know this. It is why the team will don “Cowboys themed” uniforms for this event.

While not a complete match, here are the two uniforms side-by-side:

Jones was a member of the Arkansas team in 1964 when the Razorbacks won the national championship. He has remained a fan of the team over the years. In fact, at least in the past, he has a history of going after talent who played for the Razorbacks.

This entire dilly will go down this weekend when Arkansas hosts Texas A&M. The Aggies, a team in a bit of a few year free fall, need to start putting some wins together before more people start calling for Kevin Sumlin's job.

Arkansas and Texas A&M have a contract to play games in Jones’ football palace on an annual basis through 2024.

Lovingly dubbed Jerry's World, the stadium is huge and features one of the largest jumbo-screens on the planet.
