Nik Stauskas was one of the best shooters in college basketball when he played at the University of Michigan. The 25-year-old has already played for four teams in the NBA, but he might have found a home with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, Nik Stauskas showed off his shooting prowess by hitting a 3-point shot at the buzzer just inside of the half court line.

Not sure if Nik Stauskas called bank, but it's still an impressive shot for the former first-round pick.

Nik Stauskas began his NBA career with the Sacramento Kings. He was the eighth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. The Kings traded Stauskas to the Philadelphia 76ers in the summer of 2015. He spent two and a half seasons with the Sixers and then was traded again, this time to the Brooklyn Nets.

Nik Stauskas then signed a free agent deal with the Trail Blazers this past summer. He's appeared in 16 games this season and is averaging 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 42.6 percent from the field, 39.2 percent from beyond the arc and 93.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Stauskas is only on a one-year deal with the Trail Blazers, but so far things have been good for him in Portland. The sharpshooter is coming off the bench and providing floor spacing and shooting.
