For kids, going to a sporting event can be one of the coolest experiences ever.

They get to have an up-close look at their favorite players, and they get a chance to yell and scream in hopes of fueling your favorite team to victory.

But something that always adds to the experience is when athletes give kids more than they ever could have bargained for.

That's exactly what happened for one young Boston Celtics fan in particular after the team's 128-95 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

After the game, Celtics star Kyrie Irving delivered a special gift to the sidelines: his game-worn shoes.

Now, it may take a year or 20 for the youngster to grow into them, but there's no doubt that his TD Garden experience will be one that he never forgets.

Irving went for 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting (5 of 7 from beyond the arc) in the game, which helped lead the Celtics to their second straight win and their 12th victory overall on the season.

And fortunately for Irving, he probably makes enough money these days that he should be able to buy himself a new pair of kicks before the Celtics take their show on the road for a showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.

Because our guess is that the kid probably isn't going to give those back.
