Minnesota Vikings star Adam Thielen is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. However, he has not played since Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs, a game he left early.

Thielen has been out due to a hamstring injury. And according to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com, it's still limiting him, as he missed practice on Thursday.

Thielen is one of the top wideouts in the game. This year has not been kind to him though. The Vikings star has appeared in just eight games. In that time, he has 27 receptions for 391 yards and six touchdowns.

Outside of the touchdowns, that was putting him on pace for a rather disappointing season.

Now, those numbers are going to look even worse, as he hasn't had a lot of games to correct the issue.

The good news for the Vikings is that they've managed to continue winning. They won two games in a row before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. That put them to an 8-4 record on the season.

The Vikings are currently in the playoffs. However, they are barely clinging on to that final Wild Card spot. Wins are needed.

The Green Bay Packers lead the division at 9-3. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams are just behind them for the Wild Card spot with a 7-5 record.

Minnesota has very little room to breathe with just four games left in the season. It's all-hands on deck as they face a tough stretch that includes three NFC North division games. However, it looks like Thielen might not be ready in time for Week 14.
