The Minnesota Vikings are set to hit the road for a primetime showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. They are hoping the extra day will provide enough time for wide receiver Adam Thielen to make his return.

Thielen has missed three of the last four games while nursing a hamstring injury. According to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, he is on track to play in Week 13 after practicing on Friday.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen returned to practice Friday and remains on track to play Monday at Seattle.

This is certainly an encouraging update regarding Thielen. His absence has undoubtedly left a rather notable void in the offense. Fortunately, all signs are pointing to him being able to make his return.

Thielen had been in the midst of another Pro Bowl-caliber year before picking up the injury. He had registered 27 catches for 391 yards and six touchdowns amidst a resurgence alongside quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Vikings are hoping that he will be able to pick up where he left off prior to the hamstring issue.

Thielen was not the only notable offensive player to make his return to practice. Running back Dalvin Cook was also able to get some work in after dealing with a chest injury this week. As a result, it seems Minnesota is on track to have most of their key players healthy versus Seattle.

The Vikings have an opportunity to make quite the statement in Week 13. A win over the Seahawks would not only secure their status as bonafide playoff contenders, but it could also potentially help them secure the top spot in the NFC North if the Green Bay Packers lose.
