Minnesota Vikings star wideout Adam Thielen went on the COVID-19 reserve list on Monday after having a stellar Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

After news broke about Thielen landing on the COVID-19 reserve list, Vikings fans were wondering whether the wide receiver tested positive for COVID-19 or was just in close contact with someone who did.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Thielen tested positive for COVID-19 initially, but then returned a negative test.

Adam Thielen will have to undergo more testing to determine if he contracted COVID-19 or not. This must certainly be a nervous time for the Vikings playmaker and his family.

The COVID-19 virus has been spreading across the NFL, which isn't a surprise since teams are traveling and playing a contact sport. Hopefully, Thielen tests negative for the deadly virus and is able to play in Week 12 for the Vikings against the Carolina Panthers at home.

In 10 games this season, Thielen has 49 receptions for 646 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Pro Bowler continues to prove he's one of the best players in the NFL at his position despite Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins being a below-average quarterback.

Minnesota, after losing to the Cowboys in Week 11, is now 4-6 on the season. The Vikings are in third place in the NFC North standings and will likely miss the playoffs.
