The Minnesota Vikings have undergone a handful of changes this offseason, losing quite a few players in free agency. Despite the overhaul that's happened on the roster, Dalvin Cook made a bold claim for the 2020 season amid the changes in Minnesota.

Near the beginning of free agency, the Vikings traded Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for quite a few draft picks. Cook appeared on ESPN's First Take earlier this week to discuss what Minnesota's offense would look like next season sans Diggs.

While sharing how the Vikings will miss Diggs' hard work and production, he believes the Vikings will still be contenders in 2020. There's no doubt that Cook is going to see an even heftier workload in Minnesota's offense next season.

Last season, Cook finished with a career-high 1,135 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. As a result of Cook's success on the ground, the Vikings were able to advance to the NFC Divisional Round. However, they would fall short to the San Francisco 49ers.

Even though he continued to have injury woes, Cook showed a glimpse of his potential in 2019. Still, besides Diggs, the Vikings are going to look a bit different when they take the field in Week 1 of the 2020 season.

On the defensive side of the ball, Minnesota has lost Xavier Rhodes, Mackensie Alexander, Trae Waynes, and Linval Joseph in free agency. In all likeliness, the Vikings are probably going to lose Everson Griffen as well.

Nevertheless, Cook doesn't think the losses this offseason will cause the team to incur more losses in the upcoming regular season.
