Stefon Diggs made headlines earlier in the regular season for being sick of his usage in the Minnesota Vikings' offense but this time he's legitimately under the weather. According to Ben Goessling, Diggs missed Tuesday's practice with the Vikings due to an illness.

Despite missing Tuesday's practice, it's hard to believe that Diggs would miss Minnesota's playoff game versus the San Francisco 49ers because of an illness. It's still early in the week and there's plenty of time for him to overcome his current sickness.

In last week's tantalizing victory over the New Orleans Saints, Diggs only had two receptions for 19 yards. However, both of his receptions help set up touchdown drives for the Vikings. That includes the game-winning touchdown drive that resulted in Kyle Rudolph corraling a pass from Kirk Cousins.

There's no doubt that Diggs is the most dynamic wide receiver in Minnesota's offense. Given that, the Vikings' offense would falter without him on the field.

During the regular season, Diggs contributed 63 receptions for 1,130 yards and six touchdowns. The 1,130 receiving yards for the Maryland product is a career-high mark in his five years in the NFL.

Outside of Diggs, Adam Thielen is the only other reliable wide receiver on Minnesota's roster. The Vikings are going to need everyone available if they hope to upset the 49ers at Levi's Stadium.

The Saints proved last week that it is possible to contain Diggs to a certain extent. But don't expect illness to keep Diggs from suiting up for the Vikings on Saturday.
