Since Stephen Curry was placed on the Golden State Warriors' injury list with a foot injury suffered two weeks ago, things have gone south for the Dubs. The Bay Area’s team are losers of six of their last seven games, and All-Star Andrew Wiggins hasn't played up to his potential in the process.

Wednesday morning after shootaround, Wiggins spoke to the media about playing without Curry and if the superstar's absence is the reason for his struggles:

“Steph not being out there is definitely a game-changer,” Wiggins told ClutchPoints. “It kind of changes the way that we play a bit. I wouldn't say that's the reason.”

In six games without Curry, Wiggins is averaging 15.5 points. The Warriors swingman shooting a below-average 40.7 percent from the field and 21.4 3-point range.

“I feel like I'm still getting a lot of, not the same shots, but similar shots,” Wiggins explained. “But, obviously, no one can replace Steph and the attention that he causes on the court. I feel like I've still got great looks, and put the ball up, and it just hasn't been going my way. But that's how the game goes.”

Wiggins was an All-Star for the first time in his career earlier this year, even getting a starter nod. His play in the first half of the season was a huge reason the Warriors had so much success without Klay Thompson.

Now with the season coming to an end and the playoffs approaching, his services are needed more than ever. If the shorthanded Warriors are going to be a threat in the postseason, Wiggins will have to play at the All-Star level he played at earlier this season.
