Few people on planet earth have as much insight on Stephen Curry as Draymond Green does. The two have been together ever since the Golden State Warriors drafted Green back in 2012.

The Warriors forward was asked about Stephen Curry preparing for a player who potentially “gives him trouble”. Draymond was particularly perplexed at the idea the reporter was suggesting.

Via Reddit:

“Who gives him trouble?” asked the Warriors star.

“Dillon [Brooks]. A guy who liked to defend Steph,” said the reporter.

Draymond Green gave him a stern look before responding defiantly.

“I don't think nobody in the world likes to defend Steph,” the Warriors star continued. “So I ain't buying that s–t, I mean stuff. Nuh-uh.”

It's certainly an odd question to ask, considering Stephen Curry dropped 46 points in the Warriors' latest win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The fact that he did so with just 22 shots tells you all you need to know about Stephen Curry's preparation for players that “give him trouble”.

Stephen Curry is at the level of all-world talent that is just too talented to worry about who he's playing against. The Warriors can pour it on with the best of them, usually with much more firepower than his opponents can muster.

Draymond Green knows that fact all too well. So did the Grizzlies and the aforementioned Dillon Brooks on Thursday night.
