Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is known for his high-flying theatrics, but Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II has some serious hops as well. Payton got the start for the Warriors in Game 1 of their second-round series against the Grizzlies and did his best Morant impression in the first quarter.

Kerr went with Payton to start Game 1 of this series against the Grizzlies after the guard played a key role in Game 5 of the series-clinching win over the Denver Nuggets. The 29-year-old scored 15 points off the bench and hit multiple clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter.

With the Warriors now facing a superstar point guard in Morant, Kerr decided he wanted Payton in the starting lineup to help defensively. Payton is already showing, though, that he can make an impact on the offensive end as well.

The Warriors guard started 16 games in the regular season and played a career-high 71 games. Payton averaged a career-high 7.1 points while shooting 61.6% from the field. He's an opportunistic offensive player and a ferocious defensive player on the perimeter.

This Gary Payton II dunk surely won't be the only poster of this series. There should be a lot of highlight-reel plays in this star-studded matchup. The Warriors are looking like a title contender once again, but the Grizzlies have the home-court advantage and offer up matchup challenges in this series.
