The Golden State Warriors are past the halfway point of the season and still haven't had a fully healthy roster. Most of the year the only major pieces that were missing were Klay Thompson and James Wiseman.

Now Thompson is back on the court with restrictions, but Draymond Green hasn't played since January 5th.. In this post, though, we’re answering a question on all Dubs fans’ minds: Is Draymond Green playing against the Dallas Mavericks?

Is Draymond Green playing vs. Mavericks?

The Warriors haven't been the same without Green in the lineup. He's the mastermind who keeps everything flowing as usual on both ends of the floor. Others have done a pretty good job of trying to make up for his absence, but that's not an easy task.

Green got off to a great start this season. He's averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, shooting a career-high 53.7 percent from the field. He suffered a left calf injury in early January, and the Warriors announced a couple weeks later that imaging revealed the source of Green's pain was a disc issue in his lower back.

The Warriors have been up and down ever since Green left the lineup. They've beaten good teams like the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls, but have lost to middling teams like the Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Next, the Dubs play the 27-20 Dallas Mavericks. It's a home game against a team they could face in the postseason. Unfortunately, the Dubs will have to play the Mavs without Green. The team's defensive anchor will not be available to play, and there is no specific date set for his return. Marc Spears of The Undefeated recently reported that “there's no light at the end of the tunnel” for Green's full recovery.

The Warriors on Tuesday could also be without their other star, Klay Thompson. The three-time champion tweaked his surgically repaired knee in a pregame walkthrough on Sunday and hasn't played or practiced since. He's listed as questionable for Golden State's tilt with the Mavs.
