Kendrick Perkins has no problem with the Golden State Warriors complaining about Draymond Green's Flagrant 2 foul call. However, what he doesn't like is the Dubs playing like they are the victims in the situation.

In his latest appearance on NBA Today, Big Perk went off at the Warriors for shaping the narrative that they were unfairly treated in the contest. As the former NBA big man noted, the fact of the matter is Green committed a flagrant foul and put someone in danger.

He went as far as to referencing Steve Kerr and the Warriors' reaction when Marcus Smart dove for the ball and injured Stephen Curry, with the team claiming that the Boston Celtics star did it on purpose. Simply put, Perkins doesn't like the fact that the Dubs are not being held accountable for their actions.

“As a guy that went through this and got suspended a lot, and led the playoffs in technical fouls year after year after year, you are mindful. And look, Draymond is no dummy, right? He has a high IQ, so he knows what he's doing and he knows what to do and what not to do,” Perkins said.

“The only problem that I have with the Warriors is why are they trying to act like they're the victims here? They're not the victims. Draymond Green committed a Flagrant foul 2. This goes back to the point when Marcus Smart dove for the loose ball and Steve Kerr had a panic attack and he was so frustrated on the sideline claiming that Marcus Smart did it on purpose. All of a sudden you get to this moment and all of a sudden they wanna cry wolf. … Nobody wants to hold Golden State accountable, nobody!”

While the Warriors won Game 1 versus the Grizzlies, the major talking point remains Draymond Green's Flagrant 2 call and ejection. The NBA upheld the decision, which obviously didn't sit well with Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

Perkins does have a point that the Warriors cannot play victim since Green's foul is really a flagrant–though many believe it's debatable if it should have been a 1 or 2.

Hopefully, though, the Dubs can just move on from the incident and focus on the task at hand. They have real chance to get a 2-0 series on the road, which should set them up nicely when they return home.
