At the time of print, the Golden State Warriors hold a lead in the second quarter of Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. If that wasn't enough to get Dubs fans excited, what sharpshooter Klay Thompson accomplished should do the trick. Thompson joined teammate Stephen Curry and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James with this exclusive NBA Finals feat, which he achieved in the first quarter of Monday's contest against the Celtics. NBA History on Twitter has the details.

Thompson made the 100th three-pointer of his NBA Finals career, becoming just the third player in NBA history to sink 100 or more treys in the Finals. One, it's amazing how much of a lead Curry has in this category.

Two, it's amazing that James, widely considered a middling three-point shooter for much of his career, is on this list with the Warriors' sharpshooters. And three, it's incredible that only three players in the history of the NBA have achieved this feat.

Thompson, will, in all likelihood, pass James on Monday night. Then he and Curry will be chasing each other on the list, which is fitting. Two of the greatest shooters the game has ever seen, distancing themselves from the field in a record achieved on the game's biggest stage.

They don't call them the Splash Brothers for nothing.
