Stephen Curry is supposed to be on the way out of his prime at age-32. Instead, the Golden State Warriors icon put up his highest scoring average of his entire career last season. Chef Curry isn't done, and he firmly believes his Dubs aren't either.

The Warriors star made an appearance at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Curry spoke out about a handful of different topics, from Klay Thompson's recovery, to Andre Iguodala's return.

But he also made sure to assert that their championship DNA from 2015 is still intact for next season.

“With the two guys we drafted and, hopefully getting Klay back as soon as possible,” the Warriors star said. “We have full confidence we are still that team. We obviously have to go out and prove it, but that's kind of the vibe right now and we're just trying to stay patient with it.”

The Warriors look like a vastly revamped team on the edges. But their championship core is still intact, admittedly with less athleticism but much more experience. With a youthful injection of talent and a handful of assets to make a midseason acquisition, the Warriors are still very much a threat for the championship next season.

Any team that has Stephen Curry always has a chance, after. Warriors fans know that by heart.
