The Golden State Warriors are riding the wave of an 11-game winning streak. However, with seven games remaining until this season's All-Star break, Stephen Curry isn't focused on winning out. Instead, the former Davidson standout feels the Dubs need to continue building the right habits.

“Where are we at? Seven games before the All-Star break?” Curry said during Thursday morning's media availability. “That's a short window with some pretty good teams that we'll be playing against. You want to continue to build momentum and end on a high note with that week-long break.

“More than winning out, which I think is attainable, it's more about how we're winning,” Curry added. “The details about boxing out, not turning the ball over, transition defense and all of that type of stuff that can come back to bite you if you don't build the fundamentals and the habits.

“We can lock in and focus on seven games — and do it the right way,” Curry said in closing.

Curry led the Warriors to victory in Monday night's game against the Indiana Pacers, scoring 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field (6-of-8 from beyond the arc), six rebounds, three assists and two steals. 23 of his 26 points came in the first half alone.

“I feel like we can,” Curry told ESPN when asked if the Warriors can get even better. “We're not playing perfect basketball, by any stretch, but we're playing consistent, focused basketball and we're still working out some kinks with rotations and stuff like that.”

Whether or not the Warriors (36-14 and 1st in the Pacific Division standings) will be able to win all of their games before the All-Star break remains to be seen. Their next shot at claiming a victory comes on Thursday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the Philadelphia 76ers.
