The biggest hurdle for the Golden State Warriors this season isn't any of the other 29 teams in the league. Rather, it’s their own bodies.

Just recently, Warriors forward Kevin Durant missed last Wednesday’s 125-101 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a thigh injury before coming back to lead the team to a 135-114 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers last Saturday.

This time, it’s another former league MVP Warrior who’s in danger of missing a contest. According to Golden State’s official Twitter account, two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry is deemed questionable to play against the Orlando Magic on Monday because of a thigh contusion.

Curry is averaging 25.2 points on 46.7 field goal shooting percentage, and 6.7 assists per game this season. He scored 22 points and dished out nine dimes in the Philly game.

If Stephen Curry would ultimately be ruled out for the contest, the Warriors will ask for more from Shaun Livingston, who could be inserted into the starting lineup in Curry’s absence. The Warriors still have Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to spearhead the team’s offense, which should be enough headache for Orlando.

The Magic have been one of the most surprising teams this early in the 2017-18 campaign as they currently have an 8-5 record, but even that and the looming absence of Curry aren’t enough to deter Vegas from making Golden State a double-digit favorite.
