After an NBA Finals Game 5 win which kept his threepeat dreams alive, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors shared his thoughts on the injury to Kevin Durant.

Via ESPN, Curry offered prayers to Durant, noting that KD offered everything he could in the critical Game 5. See Curry's postgame interview with Doris Burke below:

When Durant was cleared to play for Game 5, Raptors fans feared that their hopes of winning a championship would be put to a grinding halt. In Game 5 itself, Durant went right to work, draining jump shots and utilizing his long arms to get deflections.

But come the second quarter, in a one-on-one play with Serge Ibaka, the Warriors' momentum was put to a stop as the two-time Finals MVP went down, clutching the lower right part of his leg.

Curry and crew, though saddened by the loss of Durant, had no choice but to put aside their emotions and play on. Tey did just that against a Raptors squad which could smell blood and the fall of a dynasty.

As the Raptors closed in on a possible championship in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, Curry and Splash Brother Klay Thompson knocked down big shots. On the defensive end, the Warriors were able to put up stops which subsequently cut off all the momentum the Raptors had.

With the Game 5 win, the series is now at 3-2 and will head back to Oracle Arena on Thursday. Will the Warriors put up another inspired performance? Or will the Raptors finally knock down the back-to-back champions for good?
