The Golden State Warriors may have the second-best record in the NBA but they also have reason to be worried.

With Draymond Green still sidelined with a back injury and Andrew Wiggins in a brutal shooting slump, the Warriors are 2-6 in their last eight games. Wiggins has been unable to cover for the absence of Green, and Golden State s going through another tough stretch of games because of it. The Memphis Grizzlies are right on their tail in the Western Conference standings.

According to NBC Sports' Monte Poole, Stephen Curry delivered a clear message that Wiggins needs to be better.

“It’s what we demand of everybody: Be your best every night,” he said. “Come with that intention. Whatever that means for everybody individually to step and respond to, it’s what we ask. Wiggs is no different.

In his last four games, Wiggins is scoring just 12.3 points while shooting 37.0 percent from the field while averaging more fouls than assists per game. The Warriors need more from their first-time All-Star.

Curry has been better as of late after going through his own shooting slump but he also needs to step up. After saying how he is locking in down the homestretch of the season, he has to be able to lead the Warriors to more success.

Fortunately, Green may be back in action soon. He is progressing well and said that he is feeling good with his current state. The Warriors badly need him back as they look to
