Right after their awful loss to the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that his team is banged up physically and spiritually.

As per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Steve Kerr said that his team will fill up their cup soon. He also commended Draymond Green's approach despite not having things go his way throughout the game.

Green failed to score a single point but grabbed five rebounds, and five assists in 24 minutes. This is his first game back after being suspended by the Warriors for one contest due to his conduct in their overtime loss against the L.A. Clippers.

Though the Warriors have kept relatively mum amid the controversy, several critics have tried to read into tonight's loss as an effect of Green's behavior, which might have ruined the team's morale.

Yet based on Steve Kerr's comments, Draymond Green still remains as the Warriors' vocal leader and playmaker. It wasn't a great game for him personally but it was evident that he was trying to contribute in other aspects.

And if Steve Kerr's words prove prophetic, expect the defending back-to-back champions to go over this hump and start wreaking havoc all over the league once again. Expect Green, too, to provide the team with great leadership and intensity.
