The Golden State Warriors suffered a tough overtime loss at the hands of the L.A. Clippers Monday night in Staples Center, 121-116. The game saw Draymond Green's return from injury and Kevin Durant dominating on all frontiers to lead a Stephen Curry-less Dubs squad.
Aside from the loss, unfortunately, Durant and Green were also involved in a heated conversation after the end of the fourth quarter as the teams huddled prior to overtime.

During the dying seconds of regulation, the Warriors had a chance to take the final shot. With a lineup that has deadeye shooters in Durant and Klay Thompson along with an elite playmaker in Green, it was supposed to be the moment where these players thrive.
However, Draymond Green had other plans in mind as he took the ball up the floor himself after grabbing the rebound with four ticks remaining on the clock. As seen in the video below, Kevin Durant was screaming and clapping to catch his teammate's attention and pass him the ball.
Much to the back-to-back Finals MVP's chagrin, Green lost his gamble as he was stripped of the ball and the Warriors did not even have the chance to hoist a potential game-winner.

This isn't the first time for Kevin Durant and Draymond Green to clash in-game and this won't be the last. The good news for the Warriors is that this type of confrontation has become a normal occurrence between these two competitors, yet it hardly affects their chemistry.
Golden State will take this loss but they know in their heart of hearts that their road to a third-straight championship isn't slightly dented by this Monday-night mayhem.
