Steve Kerr has an embarrassment of riches as head coach of the Golden State Warriors. Whether it's the all-time great shooting ability of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the smoothness of Kevin Durant or the defensive chops of Draymond Green, Kerr has it all at his disposal.

But there is one player he would prefer to be like more than any of the others: Andre Iguodala.

“I definitely would trade spots with Andre [Iguodala],” Kerr said on Friday on 95.7 The Game. “I can only imagine what it has felt like to be Andre iguodala over the last 20 years playing basketball. That kind of athleticism, intelligence and feel, I could only dream about being the player he is.”

Funny thing about Iguodala is that while he does not have the star power of Curry or Thompson, he has something that neither player does: a Finals MVP award.

During the Warriors' first championship with this current core back in 2015, Iguodala was named Finals MVP thanks to his defense on LeBron James and his offensive versatility, helping Golden State dispatch the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

While Iguodala may not be the player he once was, he is still an incredibly valuable piece for the Warriors.

On the season, the 35-year-old is averaging 5.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists over 23.6 minutes per game while shooting 50.4 percent from the floor, 34.3 percent from three-point range and 59.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The University of Arizona product is now in his sixth season with the Dubs after coming over in a sign-and-trade with the Denver Nuggets during the summer of 2013.
