The Golden State Warriors continue to prove that they are formidable foes when they're playing at home. With their Game 3 victory against the Houston Rockets, 126-85, they have extended their playoff-winning streak at home to 16 games. This streak sets the bar, surpassing the record set by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in the 1990-1991 season.

The Warriors' win streak dates back to last year when they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 121-109. They capped off last year's playoffs with a 129-120 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. And as already forged in history, they were crowned the champions.

Entering this year's playoffs, the Warriors won all home games against the San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Pelicans, and so far, against the Rockets.

Critical to the Warriors' win was Stephen Curry. Heading into Game 3, he was just 2-of-13 from downtown. But he was able to pick himself up and drained five 3-pointers out of 12 attempts. He finished with 35 points.

It was in the third quarter where Curry did most of the damage. Right out of the lockers, he scored 18 points and shot 7-of-7 from the field, 2-of-2 from downtown, and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.

Kevin Durant also chipped in with 25 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Althroughout the series, he's put on a consistent performance. There's no single player who can match up against his offensive talents.
