Second-year man Jordan Bell of the Golden State Warriors proved to Tyreke Evans of the Indiana Pacers that easy baskets are not allowed.

In their 112-92 win over the Pacers, Bell sent Evans' layup attempt to the front row:

Bell has seen limited minutes this season but the clip above shows that he's making the most of it. In his second season, the 24-year-old is averaging 3.1 points per game, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists across 11.4 minutes per game.

Steve Kerr has been erratic in controlling Bell's playing time. There are games where he would play Bell for 15-20 minutes, 5-10 minutes, and there are games where he wouldn't play him at all.

Kerr's move seems reasonable. After all, why would he insert Bell when has an elite center in DeMarcus Cousins good and healthy to play? And with the recent signing of Andrew Bogut, could Bell be completely booted out of the rotation? Time will only tell.

In the few games remaining, the only thing that Bell should do is to put his best foot forward once Kerr subs him in. He should be aware that his head coach could pull him out anytime as he's done in the past.

Big plays like his block on Evans will likely improve his chances of being included in the rotation.
