The Golden State Warriors seemed to have planned accordingly in order to get their key free agents under contract this offseason period. One of their more-pending signings is sixth man Andre Iguodala, who is willingly fielding other offers, meeting with the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings in search of more lucrative offers to bring back to the Bay Area and seek a similar sum from his home team.

But the Warriors have prepared in case he chooses to sign elsewhere, having free agent Rudy Gay in their crosshairs if they find themselves out of a sixth man, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Gay will have four visits lined up as soon as the start of the free agency period, per Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

While Golden State would surely prefer the familiarity with Iguodala, they have notedly prepared for a doomsday scenario, making sure other free agents are at arms reach if their contractual goals don't materialize in a timely manner.

Gay averaged 18.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game in his last year with the Kings, one that was cut short due to a season-ending achilles injury in January.
