The Pittsburgh Steelers are undefeated no more, thanks in part to Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic and his late interception in the “Steel City.”

With just over two minutes left to play in regulation and Washington leading Pittsburgh by the score of 20-17, Bostic came up huge en route to picking off Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

With the 11-0 Steelers primed to drive down the field to potentially tie the game with just a field goal, it would actually be Washington that put another football through the uprights. Bostic's interception led to a quick field goal for the NFC East franchise.

As a result, Washington went on to defeat the Steelers by the score of 23-17.

Washington is now 5-7 on the season, which currently has the team tied with the rival New York Giants atop the NFC East division.

However, the Giants have already defeated Washington not once but twice this season, which gives New York a pivotal tie-breaker as both franchises continue to push toward an unlikely postseason berth.

On the other hand, the one-loss Steelers still own the top seed in the AFC playoff picture, though the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs remain right on their heels with Patrick Mahomes leading the way and growing more and more confident as time goes by.
