Tight end Logan Thomas of the Washington Football Team gave his side a 17-10 lead over the Dallas Cowboys just before halftime. He then gave something else to Dallas fans.

The Washington-Dallas rivalry is a legendary NFL rivalry. The clash has lost its luster on a national level in recent decades, due to the deterioration of the NFC East, but it's still a nasty confrontation between the two franchises and their fan bases.

Logan Thomas fueled the flames on Thanksgiving, a day known for a lot of cooking:

The especially comedic part of this sophomoric and juvenile display by Logan Thomas is that it comes in a game between 3-7 teams fighting for a division lead. Neither Washington nor the Cowboys are any good, but that isn't stopping the players on these teams from getting heated.

There was a brief skirmish moments later when the Cowboys were driving for a field goal in the final minute of the first half. The emotions are high, as you would expect when Washington and Dallas play. The sad-sack nature of each team makes what was once a classic NFL drama into one of the league's better comedic acts in 2020.
