Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma knocked down dagger after dagger on Wednesday night as he led his team to a 97-94 win over the Cavs. The 26-year-old had ice in his veins on the road with huge triples in the game's dying moments to give Washington their third-straight win.

Kuzma has been nothing but solid for the Wizards so far this season. And, per the former All-Rookie First Team member, his belief in himself is through the roof as he continues to find his identity as the team's starting forward.

“I'm a very, very confident person. I think every shot I shoot is gonna go in. That's the type of mentality you have to have to be at this level,” Kuzma said after the game (via NBC Sports Washington).

The 27th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft is absolutely loving his time in DC.

As part of the blockbuster trade involving Russell Westbrook, Kuzma alongside teammates Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were all sent to Washington to help build a solid core with the likes of Bradley Beal and Spencer Dinwiddie. Beal and Dinwiddie, who have both been tasked to lead the scoring the Wizards, both had an off-night shooting just a combined 8-of-30 from the field which gave tons of opportunities for the other guys like Kuzma to step up.

And, step up he did. Kuzma drained two big threes to help mount a late 8-1 scoring rally in the game's last thirty seconds. According to him, it was a team effort and everyone just made the right plays when they had to.

“I think we just made the right plays every time down in the fourth [quarter]. Obviously, our two main scoring threats had rough nights but they did a great job being resilient and making plays down the stretch, and finding me,” Kuzma added.

Kuzma ended with a season-high of six triples and finished with 22 points while Harrell led the way for the team with a game-high of 24 points off the bench.

I guess it's safe to say that Kuzma and the rest of the new Wizards are all fitting quite well in the nation's capital.
