Washington Wizards' guard John Wall has gotten better every single season he's been in the NBA. Just a few months ago, he helped his team get within a game of the Eastern Conference Finals, ultimately falling to the superior Boston Celtics in seven games.

Fresh off of signing a new four-year contract extension worth $170 million and one that will keep him in Washington until 2023, Wall received some news he did not like on Friday afternoon. After a spectacular season with the Wizards, Wall has been rated 90 in the new NBA 2K18 set to be released in October. Wall was apparently very upset about the rating, and got into a bit of an exchange with Ronnie 2K on Twitter:

Wall: @Ronnie2K u a joke

Ronnie 2K: Lol 90 not good enough bruh?

Wall: lol wat was I last yr?

Ronnie 2K: You started a 87 and ended up being a 93 I think. Everyone starts lower from end of season. You always move it up bro.

Wall: lol all good bra I ended at a 90 but good try wit the 93

Ronnie then ended it with a salt shaker gif, implying that Wall was salty.

Wall came into the league his rookie year and averaged 26.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game on 40.9 percent shooting from the field and 29.6 percent from beyond the arc. This past year, however, Wall completed his seventh NBA campaign, his fourth consecutive as an All-Star, averaging a career-highs in points (23.1), assists (10.7), steals (2.0), and field goal percentage (45.1 percent).

The Wizards guard may be salty, but he's got a good reason to be. Wall has become one of the best point guards in the NBA, and his all-around game, especially on the defensive end, could easily make him the best point guard in the NBA. Unfortunately, he doesn't get nearly enough media attention compared to the likes of Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, and Chris Paul. Coming into the 2017-18 season, Wall could very well be a top-three contender for the Most Valuable Player award, and this 2K rating snub might give him that extra motivation to go all out.
