Eight-year NBA veteran Isaiah Thomas has bounced around to multiple different franchises ever since becoming the “King of the Fourth” with the Boston Celtics in the 2016-17 season.

Now on the Washington Wizards, IT is having one of his best season since his heyday with the Cs, and he even produced a memorable highlight after he lost his shoe in their Tuesday night game against the Orlando Magic.

As you can see, the diminutive point guard somehow managed to drill a triple after losing his shoe — a thrilling achievement that deserves some kudos.

Thomas is averaging 12.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in 2019-20, both of which are his best since his MVP-caliber season in 2016-17. Thomas is also shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 41 percent from downtown, which actually represents a career-high for the veteran.

The Wizards have one of the best offenses in the NBA, and it’s good to see IT being a productive member of that unit – either with or without his shoes.
