The Washington Wizards staked their claim as one the best teams in the Eastern Conference with superstar John Wall now back in the mix. He guided the Wizards to a 111-103 victory over the heavily-favored Boston Celtics on Christmas Day.

Needless to say, Wall was feeling the holiday spirit after spoiling what had been Boston's first ever home game on Christmas. He was even heard wishing fans at the TD Garden a Merry Christmas in the final seconds of their win.

John Wall finally managed to get back on track after struggling mightily since his return. He finished the game with 21 points and 14 assists to go along with five rebounds and a steal.

Not only was it a solid win on primetime, but the Wizards also got a bit of revenge after losing to the Celtics in last year's Conference Semis. While it was not the result Celtics fans may have wanted, they certainly got their money's worth with a matchup between two of the East's best point guards.

That said, it was a good stepping stone for John Wall to get back to his normal, elite self. Although he has largely struggled as of late, the Wizards have now managed to go 5-2 since his return.
