Alex Ovechkin isn’t the only Washington athlete who can make the highlights by going through the five-hole, as Washington Wizards guard John Wall pulled off a nutmeg at the expense of Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside during Wednesday night’s tilt in South Beach.

During the first half of that game, Wall broke up Miami’s offense by coming away with a steal. After getting possession of the leather, Wall raced down the court with Whiteside looking to stop the Wizards’ fastbreak. Big men trying to put the clamps on a guard in transition almost always end up with them looking like hapless babies, which was exactly what happened to Whiteside.

Here's another look at it:

John Wall reduced Hassan Whiteside to a mere ornament, as he threw the ball through the center’s legs to continue the transition play. We’re pretty sure Whiteside isn’t going to tweet or make an Instagram story about that play after this game.

The Wizards star wasn’t able to make his layup attempt on the other side of the court but luckily for the team, Otto Porter was there for the putback.

John Wall entered the contest averaging 20.3 points, 9.7 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.
