These are pretty much everything WWE 2K announced that will be part of this update. Now, as with all patch notes that try to fix things, it could end up as a one step forward, two steps back affair, so we took a look at the community over at Reddit to see what people are saying about the new update. Among the most upvoted reports include:

  • “Played 2 full matches. Wrestlers stopped doing the Undertaker sit up when getting back up.” -u/youssefgamal87
  • “At 312 images, universe works fine so far, no crashes” -u/Ravenc24
  • “It looks like they’ve added some of the missing arenas, transitions etc to Create A Show. Let me stress some, though. Still lots of missing stuff so I’m still confused af.” -u/FireflyNitro
  • “MyFaction weapons? EVERYONE GET TO THE OFFICE, STAT. NO ONE LEAVES UNTIL THIS IS ADDRESSED. Everything else that's broken or needs adjustments? Maybe next year.™” -u/Nex_Antonius

The last one talks about the infamous exploit that players use to get easy wins in MyFACTION mode's Faction Wars challenge. The game mode pitches four of your stable characters against another team of four – which, if you know WWE 2K games, always gets thrown into chaos. So, to win fast games, players found an exploit where they go outside of the ring, equip a kendo stick, and wait for the opponent AI to grab the kendo stick and hit you with it. This exploit appears to have been patched now, and we're no longer able to get these quick wins anymore. That's really sad, because that's almost the only thing keeping me from abandoning MyFACTION Mode altogether. I guess I'll wait for another patch that will make the game mode more interesting and less grindy. On the other hand, if you're still playing the game mode, then check out our review of the first Signature Series 1 pack that came out earlier this week.
