After a tough stretch playing for the Cleveland Browns the past couple of years where he failed to find his footing, Odell Beckham Jr. and the team have officially decided to part ways. This will give OBJ the opportunity to start fresh and make his mark on a new team that will be able to properly utilize his skill set. As he looks to join a playoff contender, there's no doubt that he'll have his fair share of suitors.

This is especially true when factoring in how much he would be able to improve a team's aerial assault. With his speed, agility, and ability to effortlessly catch any ball that's thrown his way, there's no denying that OBJ still has plenty left in the tank and can be a major factor on a contending team. Hoping to cash in by signing with a contending team, let's now discuss three teams that must sign Odell Beckham Jr. after his release from the Browns.

3 teams that must sign Odell Beckham Jr.

1. New Orleans Saints

Now that Michael Thomas is set to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury, this could be a golden opportunity for the Saints to find an elite deep threat to replace him with. They don't have to look very far either, because OBJ just hit the waiver wire and would be a perfect in the Saints' offense. Under the direction of Payton, Beckham would be able to regain his focus while becoming the focal point of their passing game.

Between the talents of Beckham and Alvin Kamara, the Saints would have a dynamic new offense that would create all kinds of mismatches for their opponents while scoring them a ton of points. If the Saints want to up their chances of winning another division title and making another Super Bowl run, this a move that they should strongly consider. They were already rumored to be trade suitors for Beckham ahead of the deadline, so this makes sense.

2. Las Vegas Raiders

Looking rejuvenated and dominant after a coaching change and a newfound approach to the game, the Las Vegas Raiders would only get better with the addition of OBJ. Beckham and Derek Carr would form one of the best quarterback/receiver duos in the league, and the wideout would be the missing link to their offense after the departure of Henry Ruggs III.

On the Raiders, Beckham would join a deep and talented offense that already features Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake, Bryan Edwards and Zay Jones. Adding a multi-skilled deep threat of OBJ's caliber to this blossoming offensive unit would undoubtedly make the Raiders dark-horse title contenders.

3. New England Patriots

Recently having caught fire with two impressive wins that have brought them back to .500 on the year, the New England Patriots suddenly look as if they'll be in this year's AFC playoff hunt. The acquisition of Odell Beckham Jr. could be the start of an exciting new chapter for the Patriots, who are still in the process of figuring things out.

With a receiving corps that heavily consists of Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Meyers, and Hunter Henry, Beckham would be a welcome addition to give Mac Jones another deep threat who can pick apart opposing defenses.

Plus, with Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick calling the shots and having a zero-tolerance policy for off-field and locker room drama, he'd be able to set OBJ straight while getting the best out of him and possibly helping him to elevate his game even further.
