Are you prepared for San Francisco 49ers head honcho John Lynch to get extremely hyperbolic in regards to quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo? Too bad … here it comes!

According to John Lynch, had Jimmy Garoppolo played for his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teams, he would have won five Super Bowls.

“I say, man, I could have had five rings if I had a guy like that because in Tampa we never had that,” Lynch said on KNBR, via the San Francisco Chronicle.

The heck?

“I think the greatest quality that you can’t measure: Do they make people around them better?'” Lynch said. “I don’t think you can argue that he didn’t do that for everybody on the field the other day.”

So, uh, based off one game as a member of the Niners, Lynch is convinced that Handsome Jimmy is the next coming of Tom Brady?

Admittedly, I am very confused over Lynch's statements. I get wanting to back the gunslinger, as he has a literal vested interest in making sure it works out, but to put that kind of craziness and hyperbole around him?

It just seems a bit too much to me.

Then again, Jimmy G is super handsome and he's probably going to win 10 Super Bowls now that he's with San Francisco.
