The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been up and down throughout their history, but this is still a team that has found a lot of success throughout their history.

From winning Super Bowls to having some elite drafts, this is a franchise that as had a lot of great moments. But which moments were the best?

Let's take a look at the five greatest moments in Buccaneers history.

5. Signing Tom Brady and bringing in Rob Gronkowski

It doesn't matter that Tom Brady hasn't played a down yet for the Buccaneers, as he and Rob Gronkowski signing with the team still makes the list.

Even if Brady doesn't win the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay, it feels like this is changing the Buccaneers into a new era of football. Tampa Bay is all of a sudden a popular team to cheer for, something that hasn't always been the case.

If Brady and Gronk do end up leading the Buccaners to a Super Bowl victory, this very well could end up being the most important moment in the team's history.

4. Bucs finally win their first game

To say the Buccaneers got off their franchise to a slow start might be an understatement. Their first season was in 1976, and they couldn't even sniff out a win during that season.

The 1977 season got off to a bad start too and there were some real questions surrounding the team. After losing their first 12 games of the season, the Buccaneers finally got their first win in franchise history.

After being shutout two weeks in a row and only scoring seven points total in the previous five games, the Buccaneers had a showdown with the New Orleans Saints.

In that game, the Buccaneers scored 33 points, and that was enough to get the first win in team history.

3. Greatest draft night in team history

An NFL team usually feels good about themselves when they get one superstar out of a draft, but how about the night Tampa Bay got two?

Heading into the 1995 NFL Draft, the Buccaneers had the seventh overall pick. Instead of selecting seventh overall, they traded down to get more assets before trading back up to get another first-round draft pick.

With those draft picks, the Buccaneers ended up selecting Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks, two of the greatest players in franchise history.

2. Ronde Barber seals the deal

The last game ever played in Veterans Stadium ended in the best way possible for the Buccaneers. Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles were driving in the NFC Championship Game, and it looked like the Eagles might find a way to pull off the win and leave the Buccaneers with more heartbreak.

McNabb was baited into a throw by Ronde Barber, who picked off the pass and returned it to the house for a 92-yard pick-six. The interception sealed the game and punched Tampa Bay's first ticket to the Super Bowl.

Hearing the crowd go dead silent in Philadelphia in a matter of a moment had to be a special moment for Buccaneers players and fans.

1. Derrick Brooks leads the Buccaneers to Super Bowl glory

The strength of the Super Bowl team was the defense, and they didn't disappoint in the big game. The Buccaneers had a 34-3 lead early in the game, but the Oakland Raiders made it interesting by scoring some points and getting it within 13 points.

There was some concern that the Buccaneers might blow the game, but Brooks had a different opinion. Brooks picked off the pass near midfield and returned it all the way to the end zone.

The interception sealed the first Super Bowl in franchise history and is still considered the most important moment for the team.
