The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics are in serious trade talks involving this year's No. 1 overall pick, according to a report by ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Sixers, like many other teams have been eyeing University of Washington standout Markelle Fultz, who has been projected to be the No. 1 selection in this year's NBA Draft.

Talks are already in-depth, as Fultz could be going in for a meeting in Philly as soon as tomorrow, per Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, Boston would receive several picks and no players in return for the No. 1 pick, including the Sixers' No. 3 overall pick and a future first-round pick.

The only obstacle in the way keeping this from taking place are Fultz's medical records, which have only been given to the Celtics thus far.

Agents have been only giving medical records to the teams that can be realistic candidates to draft their clients.

If the trade goes through, it would be the second straight year in which Philadelphia is the first team on the clock after commissioner Adam Silver‘s introductory speech.

They have now drafted in the top three in four straight years.
