The New York Knicks have one clear weakness on their roster: point guard. Should they look to lifelong fan Adam Sandler?

The Hollywood star was hilariously seen ballin’ with a bunch of youngsters in Long Island over the weekend in the most classic Adam Sandler-like outfit ever. An oversize polo and baggy shorts. Take a look:

Sandler is clearly getting his exercise in. I mean, he’s not the most skilled, but Sandler did show some vision with that cross-court pass to the top of the key.

He’s been a die-hard supporter of the Knicks for years and you better believe Sandler is excited that New York is in the postseason for the first time since 2012/13.

2020 was a good year for Adam Sandler, appearing in numerous movies such as Hubie Halloween and Goldman vs Silverman while narrating for Nature Planet. He also starred in Uncut Gems in 2019, which featured Kevin Garnett.

The Knicks meanwhile are preparing to take on the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the NBA playoffs. NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has encouraged all fans to get vaccinated, while team owner James Dolan has said 13,000 supporters will be allowed in MSG. About half of those fans will need to have the vaccine, while there will be a separate section for fans who haven’t yet been vaxxed.

It wouldn’t be any surprise to see Adam Sandler as one of them courtside.
