Saturday night was a wild one for college football fans, as they were treated to an instant classic between Alabama and Auburn. The two decorated colleges duked it out in a grueling quadruple-overtime game that will go down as one of the best Iron Bowl games in history. In the end, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide escaped with a 24 – 22 victory.

After the game, every member of the Alabama football team was hyped up, and for good reason. Saban, the seventy-year old coach, even joined in on the festivities. (via William Galloway)

Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams recorded the football team going wild in the locker room. In the video, you can see Nick Saban hanging around, clearly having the time of life despite being surrounding by the energetic youth around him.

The Crimson Tide deserved every bit of this celebration, too. Alabama was actually down 10 – 0 heading into the fourth quarter of regulation, as Auburn looked to knock off their long-time rivals. In the end, Saban and his crew stormed back into the game with a 10 – 0 run of their own to force the first overtime in Iron Bowl history.

The legendary college football coach placed all the praise on his team, as Alabama fought tooth and nail for the victory.

“For the guys to keep fighting like they did, and they have the 90-some yard drive to tie the game and get to overtime. The players, I’m so proud of the way they competed in the game and fought. We said that’s what we wanted to do at halftime and I couldn’t be prouder of them. It was unbelievable.”

The job's not done for the Crimson Tide, though. Alabama will now have to play the undefeated Georgia in the SEC Championship game, in what looks to be another brutal football game.
