Andrew Wiggins was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2014 draft. Since entering the league, he's made $77,822,123 through NBA contracts and that dollar amount is only going to rise moving forward, per Spotrac.

The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Wiggins with the first pick. The athletic swingman signed a two-year, $11.27 million rookie contract with the Cavs but never suited up for them. That's because Cleveland traded Wiggins to the Minnesota Timberwolves in August of 2014 for All-Star big man Kevin Love.

Andrew Wiggins made $5,510,640 during his rookie season with the Timberwolves. He averaged 16.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists and won the Rookie of the Year Award.

In his second season, Wiggins put up 20.7 points and 3.6 rebounds. He earned $5,758,680 and was well on his way to signing a lucrative rookie-scale extension.

During the 2016-17 campaign, Andrew Wiggins displayed All-Star potential. He averaged a career-high 23.6 points per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. The Toronto native was making only $6,006,600 but that was going to change soon.

In October of 2017, the Timberwolves signed Wiggins to a five-year, $147.7 million maximum contract extension. It was set to kick in during the 2018-19 season.

Wiggins averaged 17.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 2017-18 while making $7,574,323. Minnesota made the playoffs thanks to the heroics of Jimmy Butler. However, the Timberwolves lost to the Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2018 playoffs.

Butler requested a trade from the Timberwolves before the start of the 2018-19 season. He didn't want to play with Wiggins or Karl-Anthony Towns anymore. As a result, the Timberwolves were no longer postseason contenders since Butler was the team's best player and leader.

Andrew Wiggins made $25,467,250 in 2018-19. He averaged 18.1 points per game but just shot 41.2 percent overall and 69.9 percent from the free-throw line. The scoring forward got booed at home games by Timberwolves fans, as they were tired of watching this talented player not live up to his potential despite making over $25 million a year.

In 2019-20, Andrew Wiggins played 42 games for the Timberwolves before the franchise traded him to the Golden State Warriors for All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell. Wiggins was set to make $10,877,537 from the Warriors and $16,627,093 from Minnesota before the season was suspended due to COVID-19.

Whenever the 2020-21 season starts, Wiggins will make $29,542,010. He averaged 21.8 points per game for Minnesota and Golden State in 2019-20.
