There is a newly discovered glitch that will undoubtedly frustrate Wraith mains in Apex Legends. This glitch apparently makes Wraith’s ultimate ability disappear entirely in a certain spot in World’s Edge.
Back when Apex Legends first launched, the game featured 8 Legends including Wraith. Many players instantly fell in love with her gameplay and has been the most used legend in the game since. Now in Apex Legends Season 11, the game officially has 19 Legends in the roster and Wraith still stands out. This is because all of her abilities are situational and crucial to the entire squad. Especially Wraith’s ultimate ability which provides a portal for her squad to either escape or reposition themselves in a gunfight. Now with this ongoing bug happening in World’s Edge, it slightly makes Wraith less effective to her squad.
Thankfully, the bug only happens when Wraith uses her ultimate in the Harvester POI of World’s Edge. However, that doesn’t mean that the bug isn’t a big deal. Harvester is located in the central area of the map meaning squads are most likely to pass by the area. This also means there are high chances of a gunfight taking place thus making Wraith’s ultimate a crucial factor. Wraith being unable to use her Dimensional Rift in the Harvester could easily lead her squad to their inevitable elimination. It’s either they have to play it stealthily, dodge the POI entirely, or eliminate everyone in sight. This can be very frustrating especially in Ranked mode wherein getting kills matters in gaining RP. The bug limits a squad’s movement in the Harvester having Wraith in their roster.
Respawn is aware of the situation and is already working on a fix for this disastrous bug. However, considering the number of bugs and glitches Apex Legends currently has, the fix might come out by next season. Hopefully, Respawn comes up with the fix sooner than later.
