After a disappointing end to the season, the Arizona Cardinals hope to reload for another playoff run. The roster has dwindled slightly with a few departures, but it's not like the team is in trouble. Although the NFC West is stacked, this franchise still has a real shot to make a Super Bowl run. We take a look at some of our bold Cardinals predictions with the 2022 NFL Draft in mind.

Arizona has a chance to build a solid roster for the 2022 season. Although there are rumors of Kyler Murray's frustrations, the Cardinals are in a great spot to construct a winning team around him. To do so, the front office should emphasize the trenches and reel in some talented offensive linemen through the draft.

Furthermore, we might see the Cardinals focus on the offensive side of the ball in general. With Chase Edmonds gone, Arizona may opt to select a rookie running back to play alongside James Conner. Additionally, the front office might be searching for a new wide receiver to replace Christian Kirk.

With that said, here are three bold Cardinals predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Cardinals Predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft

3. The front office selects multiple offensive linemen to protect Kyler Murray

This team needs help in the trenches and they should focus on that area throughout the draft. Even so, it's not like it's a dire need, as Murray is capable of scrambling with the best of them. Regardless, it'd be nice to see the Cardinals acquire a center and a guard in the NFL Draft.

Luckily for Arizona, this class is deep with talent within the trenches. The Cardinals can still find solid prospects in the third and fourth rounds. Although those players will need some time to develop, they'd still be a great addition to this team.

2. Arizona strengthens its backfield with an exciting rookie running back

Chase Edmonds now plays for the Miami Dolphins while James Conner remains in Arizona. Conner was an amazing running back last season and he's likely to be nearly as dominant. However, the Cardinals like to run a dual running back system and this is the perfect class to find a solid prospect. The front office can make a splash pick in round one and still find a decent prospect running back in round two or three.

Three names to keep an eye on are Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker, and Isiaha Spiller. It's unclear who the top prospect running back is, but these three are at the top of most teams' draft boards. Look for the Cardinals to take one of these rookies to increase the run game in 2022.

1. Cardinals take Chris Olave to replace Christian Kirk

DeAndre Hopkins, AJ Green, and Rondale Moore isn't a bad trio. However, Christian Kirk proved to be a major contributor last season and it's unclear if Green or Moore can fill that void. For that reason, the Cardinals should highly consider selecting a wide receiver in the first round. The perfect prospect for Arizona would be Chris Olave.

Olave is a speed demon who can help stretch the field, which is exactly what the Cardinals need. Everything about his skillset matches Arizona's offensive scheme, which will help Kyler Murray immensely. If he's available at the 23rd overall pick, the front office should pull the trigger.
