The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has made a subtle but necessary change to its format.

It's inductees will now be presented with a “Naismith Orange” blazer (same color as a basketball) to wear during the ceremony.

This is in line with the gold jackets presented to Pro Football Hall of Famers, and green jackets for golfers who win at the Masters.

The new jackets were revealed on Thursday before the 2016 class inductees were presented.

Previous hall inductees were formerly presented with a blue blazer, but American apparel company Haggar was given the task of making new jackets for the 2016 class.

Hall chairman Jerry Colangelo had the honor of being presented with the very first jacket, and he found them a bit amusing:

We’ll certainly be seen wherever we are
