Tee Higgins, similar to the other rookies, hasn't been able to get much on-field work with the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason. However, the rookie pass-catcher will get an opportunity to work out with Bengals legendary pass-catcher Chad Johnson.

There's no doubt that Higgins would prefer to work on his chemistry with fellow rookie Joe Burrow. At the least, while he hasn't been able to catch passes from Burrow, he'll run routes with Johnson. The former All-Pro wideout revealed on Twitter that he'd be working out with Higgins — along with other rookie wide receivers.

Besides Higgins, rookies Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, and CeeDee Lamb are also going to put in some work with Johnson. Of the known wide receivers that are attending, Higgins is the only rookie that wasn't taken in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In his final two seasons at Clemson, Higgins amassed 118 receptions for 2,103 yards and 25 touchdowns. The 6-foot-4 wide receiver excelled at making plays down the field, averaging 18.1 yards per reception in college.

Now, entering the NFL, the Bengals are hoping that Higgins can provide the same for their offense. Although, it could be tough for Higgins to carve out a consistent role as a rookie given the fact that Cincinnati also has A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, and John Ross at wide receiver.

While the Bengals haven't had much success in the past two decades, Johnson was one of the organization's most productive players. The charismatic pass-catcher is the team's all-time leader in receptions (751), receiving yards (10,783), and receiving touchdowns (66). Seeing that Johnson compiled a memorable career with the team, fans hope him working with Higgins translates to Higgins having a successful career in the NFL.
