Buffalo Bills running back Zack Moss is inactive for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. NFL Network's Ian Rapaport says Moss isn't injured.

Here's the full list of Bills inactives:

This is a big surprise given Moss is listed as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart behind Devin Singletary. The second-year man was expected to get at least a decent amount of action, so fantasy football players who have Moss rostered have to be wondering what's going on.

With Moss inactive, Matt Breida will slide into the backup running back role. The Bills also have Taiwan Jones on the roster at the position.

Moss is in his second season in the NFL after being picked in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Utah. As a rookie for a Bills team that made it to the AFC Championship Game last season, the running back rushed 112 times for 481 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games. He also caught 14 passes for 95 yards and a score. The youngster only appeared in one playoff game, rushing seven times for 21 yards and catching four passes for 26 yards.

With Moss inactive for Week 1, we'll just have to wait and see what happens with him moving forward. Perhaps this will be a sign of things to come for him on this roster.
